Steps to Build Patio Shade

One of many ways to increase your outdoor area in your residence is to install a
patio shade You can choose to set a patio shade canopy, or you can choose the more traditional patio shade cover, it is free for you to choose.
Patio shade is relative simple to build.
To build a
patio shade you must prepare shovel, cement foundation, posts with brackets, 4x4 wood posts, brackets to attach 4x4 posts to the top of the frame, 2x2 pieces of wood to go across the top for shade, screws, drill, bolts, paint supplies, leveler, concrete and wheelbarrow or bucket to mix it in, and ladder.
Step 1 setting the foundation.
This is the first step of the tasks. Set the foundation post about 8 to 10 feet apart for the length and width of
patio shade cover that you want. Dig the holes, place in the foundation tubes. Mix the concrete, fill to the top. Insert the mounting bracket for your posts. Wait until 48 hours, before mounting the posts.
Step 2 attaching the posts.
Use the 5 inch bolts to attach your posts to your
foundation brackets. Pre-drill, and then use a washer and nut combo to attach the bolt. Do it carefully. Hang additional posts on top of your foundation posts to form the frame for the 2x2 lumber that will be spread across the top of the
patio shade.
Step 3 the shade.
Provide the
patio shade.
Step 4 secure it.
Both bolts and screws can be used to apply braces at an angle in order to support two sides of the corner.
Step 5 paint it.
This is the last step, the finishing step. Paint your patio shade with
good quality outdoor paint that is weatherproof.
Many materials are available to be used to build a
patio shade, such as wood, stone, brick and stucco. You can
choose the material that is best for structure of yours.
